Judit Polgar, nació el 23 de julio de 1976 y, sin lugar a dudas, es la ajedrecista más fuerte de todos los tiempos. Siempre ha jugado torneos masculinos, con la clara meta de ir por el título mundial general y nunca aspirando únicamente al femenino (ganado por su hermana Susan). Judit alcanzó el título de GM en 1991, cuando tenía 15 años y 5 meses, batiendo el record del, hasta entonces, más joven gran maestro de todos los tiempos, Bobby Fischer en 1958.
